 The House of Federation is deliberating on the recommendations of the Constitutional Inquiry Council regarding the #Tigray_Region elections.

The Constitutional Inquiry Council announced that it has submitted various resolutions to the House of Federation regarding the upcoming elections of the Tigray Regional State.

it was said  the decision to hold the by-elections, especially in the region, was unconstitutional.

On the other hand, the conference recommended that political parties in the region, such as the Raya Democratic Party and the Tigray Democratic Party, accept the claim that the election was not appropriate at this time due to lack of opportunity to participate in the election.

In the areas of Wolkait and Raya, complaints about identity issues related to the election and allegations of human rights abuses in the area should also be considered as they have a constitutional basis, the conference said.

Following the recommendations of the Constitutional Inquiry Council, they  called on the House of Federation to pass a resolution declaring it better.

The House of Federation is also secretly advising on the recommendations of the Constitutional Inquiry Council during its emergency meeting today. Following this, it is expected that a decision will be made after consulting.
