Courts ruled on 140,000 cases last budget year.

The fifth regular session of the Supreme Court is being held in Addis Ababa.

"140,000 cases were decided in the federal courts last budget year," said Meaza Ashenafi, president of the Federal Supreme Court.

SHe also said that the reform process has been carried out in the federal courts and that the regional courts are also in the process of reforming.

SHe also said that the judiciary has been partially opened to prevent the outbreak of the CVD 19 outbreak during the current budget year.

According to Meaza, 7,000 cases have been resolved.
